Stakeholder Management

Stakeholder management, which consists of "communication, cooperation and contact with anyone who has an interest in the project", is a complex and time-consuming task. It is, however, a task which is extremely important if a large infrastructure project like the Kliplev-Sønderborg motorway is to be successfully accomplished.

KMG has therefore appointed a member of staff within its organisation to be responsible for stakeholders. One of this function's main tasks is to communicate and manage relations with any third party who requires help in connection with any inconvenience caused during the establishment phase itself. The function will also manage and coordinate the process of obtaining the necessary consent of the various stakeholder groups.

The function will manage enquiries from the general public and project stakeholders regarding access to general information. It will also manage all public enquiries and complaints and forward them to the relevant party as agreed with the Danish Road Directorate.

Visitor centre

KMG will establish a visitor centre, which will function in practice as the motorway project's public face. It will be an information centre where members of the public will be given access to all relevant and current information and will be able to see the progress made. During the construction phase, the visitor centre will be located at KMG's headquarters (Grøngrøftvej 16, DK-6200 Aabenraa) and will be open Monday from 13.00 to 17.00 and Friday from 9.00 to 14.00.
